It’s finally here!
Since I am hauling up to 18 boards at a time out to demos – I needed to get something that could hold them all.
So I ordered a Sprinter Van back in February.
It showed up last week – and has already been to one SUP race and one demo.
The thing is AWESOME. There is so much room in it.
I am still figuring out what type of racks I am going to build – so for now I just pile them in.
(there are 10 SUP’s in the van in these photos – including a Naish Glide 14′)
Full sticker package coming soon.

I hope you all enjoyed Fathers Day in one way or another.
My awesome wife gave me a shuttle ride out to Shalom Park (right by Rabbit Hill) outside of Edmonton, AB.
I then paddled my butt off for 2:54.21 and covered 33.5 km all the way to Rafters Landing (the Edmonton River boat).
Here is a video made up of still photos from my Go Pro camera – one photo every 60 seconds.
It was a great paddle and Easy Rider will be doing a shuttle run of the same distance later this summer.
Stay tuned here for the date and time.

Easy Rider, Currie Industries and Old Bus Designs hosted a Surf Session in West Edmonton Mall this past Wednesday night.
Three straight hours of surfing was a ton of fun.
Everyone was getting full rides by the end of the night, with the most improved being Trey, Griffin and Brett.
I guess youth is key to learning.
Big thanks to Dave and Scott for the limited edition “Big Wednesday” T-Shirts.
Easy Rider hosted another demo out at Telford Lake in Leduc last night – and for once the weather was nice!
Lots of new people tried out the fun sport of SUP.
There was a little bit of wind so Scott rigged up a sail and showed off the versatility of SUP by sailing his Starboard Cruiser around for a while.
Thanks to Scott and Delmer for helping out with the demo and thanks to Mike for the photos.
The next FREE demo is Tuesday, June 29 – 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Telford Lake.
We finally had a nice / hot / sunny / low wind day here in Edmonton.
Good thing it was Saturday, June 12 – the day of Paddle Fest at Rundle Park.
Easy Rider was out in full force and managed to get 63 people to try out SUP.
Thanks to MEC and the City of Edmonton for hosting a great event, and a big Thanks to Scott and Delmer for coming out and helping stoke out the first timers.
We made a brief appearance on CityTV’s Breakfast Television this morning in support of the upcoming demo at Paddle Fest this Saturday.
We got to poach Hawrelak Park lake for about 2 hours while BT filmed some segments.
I finally convinced Carla to try it out – and she hopped on a Starboard Big Easy and paddled around like a pro.
Paddle Fest is Saturday, June 12 at Rundle Park in Edmonton – come on out and try SUP for Free.
